On-Site and Open Enrollment Trainings:

TIER is offering a variety of training courses at our Gap, PA Corporate location. TIER also offers customized training at your location to meet specific goals / needs.

  • 8-Hour D.O.T / EPA RCRA (49 CFR 172.704 & 40 CFR 262 & 265) This course provides detailed instruction on D.O.T. and RCRA regulations pertaining to the preparation and offering of hazardous materials, hazardous substances and hazardous wastes for transportation.
  • 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher (29 CFR 1910.120) Class content is designed to provide individuals with the required annual review of their initial HAZWOPER training.
  • 8-Hour HAZWOPER Awareness / First Responder (29 CFR 1910.120) An introductory course developed to provide basic training to individuals who are likely to witness or discover a hazardous substance release and initiate an emergency response, or for the purpose of containing the release.
  • 24-Hour HAZWOPER Technician (29 CFR 1910.120) This session provides training for individuals who respond to hazardous substance releases for the purpose of stopping the release and clean up efforts.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER (29 CFR 1910.120) This course provides the initial training required for individuals who work on hazardous waste sites for the purpose of clean up or emergency response.
  • 8-Hour OSHA Permit Required Confined Space Entry (29 CFR 1910.146) Designed to meet the requirements of the OSHA standard for confined space entry – attendant, entrant and entry supervisor.
  • 8-Hour Confined Space Rescue (29 CFR 1910.146) This course teaches students how to conduct rescues in their location’s permit-required confined spaces. This includes developing and updating pre-plans, conducting practice rescues, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and coordinating with other emergency responders. Prerequisites: Certificate of Training required for Confined Space Entry, First Aid, CPR, AED, Respiratory Protection, and Hazardous Materials Handling.
  • 8-Hour – International Air Transport Association (IATA) –Dangerous Goods by Air. A course that provides students with the knowledge needed to ship hazardous materials by air according to IATA guidelines.
  • 10-Hour & 30-Hour OSHA General Industry Safety Course. Introduces general and detailed information of OSHA standards, policies and procedures for General Industry. Conducted by a TIER OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer.
